I am not sure this is "official" by any means, but I beleive that the team now has it's "first Jr. member!"

I signed up Collin and myself tonight.

I would normally say "sweet" or "glad to have him" but UGH, another McIlvain to dish out the pain. It's bad enough when there's only C+ there to push the pain, but now we have C++. The two of them working together like a team of Shlecks dispensing pain like candy...

You know I'm kidding - I'm looking forward to seeing ya Curtis.

Start 'em young, then they get to be 16-17 years old and start kicking our old-fart asses at everything on the bike.

Looking forward to it!!!

You know I love to brag about him.. and I will some more... that kid can flat out ride a bike. We had him on a single speed 10-12" at about 18 months. He graduated soon after to a normal coaster brake and was off like no ones business. He has his training wheels off at exactly 3 1/2 years of age. He can climb all the hills in my neighborhood with a style not unlike one yellow jersey wearer (Chris can attest to the hills). At age 4, he moved up to a 16" and scares Andrea to death with his speed. We ride together daily and on most Sundays we can be found at Yellow River doing the beginner loop one to two times.

So... there may be some truth to Matt's fears!  Cool

BTW - I am riding pretty strong lately  Wink
